Full in-circuit emulation for the Intel 8051 microcontroller family including the GA, GB, FA, FB, and FC versions. (Both standard and CMOS parts are supported.) External bank switching inputs allow the target hardware to select up to 4 banks of either target or emulator overlay memory. Sixteen external inputs can be used either as input conditions for triggering or trace inputs. Complex event and triggering sequences permit precise control of the trace thereby reducing the requirement for large trace buffers. Hardware based performance analysis is included at no additional cost and provides very accurate timing and code coverage information. Software development is enhanced by the use of SourceGate II, a full featured source-level debugging package that is available for Windows*, SUN* or HP host platforms.
